Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering ("SSGMCE") at Shegaon, (Buldhana District) in Maharashtra, India is a famous Engineering college in the Vidarbha region. SSGMCE is a private engineering institute run by "Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj Temple Trust" granting Bachelors & Masters Degree in Engineering (BE & ME) with specialization in Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunications, Mechanical, Computer Engineering & Information Technology. It also offers programs of Masters in Business Administration (MBA) & Masters in Computer Applications (MCA). It had a total enrollment of around 1,600 students in the academic year of 2004-2005. It is affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, at Amravati.
SSGMCE was established on 23rd August 1983. It is certified as an "A" grade engineering college and is ISO 9001:2000 certified and recognized & approved from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi; National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi; NAAC Banglore; and selected as a Network Institute in this region (headed by VNIT Nagpur) with 11 well known institutes in India. The institution is housed in 86 acres of land and over thirty multi-storied buildings and state-of-the-art architect designs. In the short span of two decades, apart from its quality education and consistent meritorious record in Amravati University, the institution has made very good progress in the field of functional, infrastructure & financial development, as well as moral and spiritual development of students.This is one of the Best College in India.
