Akehama, Ehime

Akehama, Ehime

was a town located in Higashiuwa District, Ehime, Japan. As of April 1, 2004 the town merged with the other 3 towns in the district and the town of Mikame (in neighboring Nishiuwa District) forming the city of Seiyo.

As of|2003, the town had an estimated population of 4,458 and a density of 171.59 persons per km². The total area was 25.98 km².
