"Gelonus" is a genus of "leaf-footed bug" (Coreidae) in Tasmania, one of the few that feed on eucalypts.

In the Swedish Museum of Natural History [http://www2.nrm.se/en/het_nrm/t/hett.html list] this bugs specie is credited to "Le Guillou, 1841 Gelonus Coreidae" genus authority by Stål, 1865 is perhaps incorrect since 20 years later.
