Winnipeg, Manitoba ,Canada . She was first elected in 1998 and subsequently reelected in 2002 and 2006. She is a registered nurse and taught at theUniversity of Manitoba . Gerbasi chairs the Access Advisory Committee, which brought forward Canada’s first Universal Design Policy and is the first woman to chair the Historic Buildings Committee.Gerbasi has been a critic of Mayor
