David E. Yoder

David E. Yoder (born October 13 1956) is a self proclaimed advocate for Amish victims of child abuse and a former member of ultra-conservative Swartzendruber Amish community. In 1997, he appeared on the news program "20/20" to publicize how difficult it was to get local authorities and Amish church officials to acknowledge or prosecute severe physical abuse committed against his nieces and nephews. In a June 19, 1997 Watertown Daily Times article [http://swartzamish.blogspot.com/2008/07/morristown-case-has-gained-federal.html Yoder's abuse allegations were unfounded by the New York State Police] He maintains the website www.amishdeception.com to share his own and his family's stories of harassment and unfounded allegations of physical abuse.

Yoder has self published a book titled Amish Deception alleging murder, rape and incest in the Swartzentruber Amish communities in St. Lawrence County, NY.
