Villa Maria College

Villa Maria College is a college located in Cheektowaga, New York, USA. It was founded and continues to be conducted by the Felician Sisters of Buffalo.

The college had been a two year post-secondary institution. Villa Marie offers associate degrees in Business Management, Early Childhood Education, Education Studies, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Jazz, Liberal Arts, Music, Music Business, Photography, and Physical Therapist Assistant. In addition, the college has been developing some four year programs in selected areas, now offering a Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Animation, Fashion Design and Merchandising, and Interior Design. The college anticipates additional four year programs in the future.

Villa Maria College is a private, coeducational, Catholic institution founded by the Felician Sisters in the Franciscan spirit. The College fosters Christian values, intellectual inquiry, respect for diversity, and commitment to serving others. Through career-directed associate and baccalaureate programs integrated with liberal arts, the College educates students for employment and transfer to other educational institutions.

Villa Maria College is a private two-year college for both traditional and non-traditional students. Based in the Catholic and Franciscan tradition, Villa Maria College provides a holistic approach to higher education, addressing each student's intellectual, vocational, and spiritual needs.

Villa Maria High School, formerly associated with the college, announced that it would cease operations after June 2006 due to low enrollment.

*Note: Villa Maria is also the name of a former college that used to exist in Erie, Pennsylvania, before it was merged into the neighboring Gannon University.
