When Barsky left WCAU-FM in 1985, his morning show, "Hot Hits," had turned into a ratings leader and was one of the most listened to Top 40 shows in the country. WYSP , Barsky worked at WPTP 96.5, "The Point," owned byBeasley Broadcasting Group Inc (BBGI). Barsky was not only morning DJ, but also program manager. BBGI suddenly made a format change at WPTP and Barsky lost his morning show. He was still retained as program manager, but soon left. Kim Douglas was let go from the station and plans to resume her first love of auto racing, but Barksy and Vinnie have been retained, with Vinnie doing the Eagles football pre-game show and Barsky being left in a as-of-now unknown job at the station.
