New Zealand pop star who released her first single in2001 at the age of 17, and still inHigh School .K'lee is of Scottish and Maori Decent.K'Lee now lives in Los Angeles, USA With her husband Enrique Vasquez. (Former DJ for rapper Coolio) And is of Spanish / Mexicano Decent.They had their first Child December 2007. Their daughter Illiana Vasquez.K'lee's first single was a cover of
Mister Mister 's "Broken Wings " which stormed up to #2 in the New Zealand Top 50music charts . Her second single was "1+1+1, It Ain't Two", a song about being insulted by her boyfriend. K'lee's third single was "Can You Feel Me?".=Facts=
* Her debut self titled album debuted at no.7 on the albums chart and peaked at no.4 a week later. The album spent only 7 weeks in the top 50 albums chart and went on to sell 6,200 copies throughout New Zealand.
*K'Lee received a video funding grant for a fifth single from her album to be released. The track 'Tonight' became shelved and no more singles were taken from K'Lee's album.
*K'Lee has performed alongside Coolio, Missy Elliott, Reece McCaffrey, Stellar* & Abs
*K'Lee appeared on season 2 Celebrity Treasure Island and was eliminated first for catching the flu during filming
*K'Lee got the late night shift at New Zealands finest R&B and Hip Hop radio station, Flava. K'Lee's DJ role was highly successful and became one of the most popular radio Dj's from that station.
