Hagrama Mohilary ( _br. हग्राम मोहिलरि) alias Hagrama Basumatary is the Chief Executive Member of Bodoland Territorial Council. He was previously the chief of BLTF . With the surrender of 2641 BLTF cadres in December 6, 2003, BTC was formed as aforesaid in the Memorandum of Settlement [ [http://www.satp.org/satporgtp/countries/india/states/assam/documents/papers/memorandum_feb02.htm Memorandum Of Settlement] ] signed by the Government of India in February 10,2003 .Consequently, Hagrama was elected as the chief of BTC which comprises twelve other executive members.

As a poet

Besides being a leader, Hagrama has got a poetic nature.Whenever he finds time he is with his pen yielding new verses. A Bodo album "Swr Nwng Onjali" has also come out with some of the songs written by him like"Dukhu thabai roje".
