Aloísio Pires Alves, best known as "Aloísio" (born August 16, 1963 in Pelotas) was a Brazilian footballer, playing as a central defender. He won the silver medal for Brazil at the 1988 Olympic Games football tournament but shockingly only won 7 caps for the main national team, mainly due to the great competition for places at that time.

Aloísio played at Sport Club Internacional and FC Barcelona (where he won Spanish Cup and UEFA Cup Winners' Cup) before he signed for Futebol Clube do Porto, in 1990/91, where he spent the rest of his career. At Futebol Clube do Porto. He won multiple titles at the Portuguese club, whose fans remember him for his impeccable tackles and classy behaviour on and off the pitch.

Before retiring at 2000/01, aged 37, he won 7 Portuguese Football Championship titles, 7 Portuguese SuperCup and 4 Cup of Portugal.
