Victoria University of Wellington with aDiploma of Visual Communications Design in the early 1980s, Fifi moved toChristchurch and began her career in art. A commercial airbrush artist, design tutor, arts and crafts presenter on the children's show "What Now " and an illustrator of children's books, Fifi managed to juggle her many creative achievements which included giving birth to two children.As a working mother, Fifi started using her wry sense of humour and expressed it as witty poetry and illustration for
Next Magazine in a regular column for many years.Later, she relocated back to
Wellington with her husband and now teenaged children. She is a regular entrant in theMontana Wearable Art Awards and has been a finalist eight times and a four times award winner.Fifi teaches workshops to kids and adults alike in the creative process and techniques involved in creating art for the stage and had a three month stint at
Weta Workshop working on "".After spending two years in Britain, Fifi returned to New Zealand to study scriptwriting at Victoria University's
