Supastition is an underground hip hop artist from Greenville, North Carolina, now living in Charlotte. He has worked with rappers like KRS-One, Cunninlynguists, and Little Brother.

Supastition has released three official projects, 2002's "7 Years of Bad Luck", 2004's "The Deadline", and 2005's "Chain Letters".

Biography

Supasition was born in the city of Greenville, North Carolina. In 1995, at the age of 18, he began to pursue a career in rap. He was signed to Davey DMX's Lo Key Records then spent two years waiting for his contract to expire.Fact|date=September 2008 He released a single, "Broke Man's Anthem" on Rasco's Pockets Linted label. In 2002, he released his debut album, "7 Years of Bad Luck" on Freshchest Records.

In 2003, he appeared on CunninLynguists' "SouthernUnderground" album. Supastition received wider attention in 2004, when he entered and won an Okayplayer song contest.Fact|date=September 2008 His entry "The Williams" (produced by Nicolay) was included on Okayplayer's "True Notes, Vol. 1" compilation that year.

In mid-2004, he appeared on KRS-One's album "Keep Right", on the song "Still Spittin'". Later that year, he released an EP titled "The Deadline". The single "Boombox" reached #2 on National College Radio charts and was featured on MTV2's "One Life: The Love, The Game".Fact|date=September 2008

He appeared on projects by Little Brother ("The Chittlin' Circuit" and "Separate but Equal" mixtapes), Pumpkinhead, and Cesar Commanche in 2005. In late 2005, he released his second full-length album, "Chain Letters", featuring production from Nicolay, Jake One, Illmind, M-phazes and Croup. "Chain Letters" received high praise in magazines such as Scratch, XXL, Elemental, and other publications.Fact|date=September 2008

In 2007 Supastition released a mixtape called "Guest of Honor", mixed by DJ Forge. It features production by DJ Forge, Marco Polo, Khrysis,Illmind, Jake One and M-Phazes among others.

Supastition released an EP, "The Self-Centered", in 2008 under his given name, Kam Moye, as a free digital download.Fact|date=September 2008
