"Unsound" is a series of compilation albums released by the record label Epitaph Records starting in 2006.
It is the successor of the "Punk-O-Rama" series which had its last of ten releases in 2005. The reason "Unsound" started was because Epitaph Records wanted to showcase the diverse acts on their label. Since they have expanded beyond punk, the name "Punk-O-Rama" did not seem appropriate anymore. Another difference between "Punk-O-Rama" and "Unsound" is that "Unsound" has so far only included bands on Epitaph Records. This is different than "Punk-O-Rama" in that "Punk-O-Rama" included bands from Epitaph related labels, such as Hellcat Records and Burning Heart Records.
