IPB SDK is a popular modification for Invision Power Board (IPB). It contains over 100 functions contained within a single class, and acts as an API for PHP developers to integrate their website with the forum software.

History

IPB SDK was founded in August 2003 by [http://www.invisionize.com Invisionize] community member 'cowweb'. Since then, it has gone through several revisions, including the upgrade to an object-oriented programming style.cowweb [http://forums.invisionize.com/index.php?showtopic=57017 dropped the project] when Invision Power Services changed their stance on charging for IPB, and it was picked up by 'Pita' who maintains it currently.

IPBWI has taken over development of IPB SDK and continues to offer revisions to the code to work with current version of Invision Power Board.
