He first met with other members of Fluke inHigh Wycombe where he had been involved, along withMike Tournier , in Skin.History
Little is known of Fugler's history until his incorporation into Fluke in 1988 at the age of 26 in
Beaconsfield ,Buckinghamshire ."One Little Indian Records", "Fluke Biography" ( [http://www.indian.co.uk/fluke/ link] ).]In 1982 Jon Fügler (his name includes an umlaut, at least pre-Fluke) was on a Technician Education Council Science course (mostly chemistry-based) day-release from his job at Perkin Elmer in Amersham (near Beaconsfield), where he was involved in making printed circuit boards. In late 1982 or early 1983 he was sacked and had told friends he was thinking of working for the BBC. At this time, and earlier, Jon tended to present a cadaverous and vaguely funereal look.
