The Araullo University's main campus is the easternpart of the city, a five-minute drive from downtown
Cabanatuan ,Philippines .The University is a non-sectarian institution of higher learning.Recently, Araullo University, PHINMA Education Network has upgraded its facilities in its effort to continually provide quality education.
Araullo University offers elementary, high school, college, and graduate programs. College courses are nursing, criminology, commerce and accounting, education, political science, and civil & geodetic engineering. (In the mid-1970's, an undergraduate industrial management engineering program was offered, which was later replaced with "industrial engineering" the common program offered in different Philippine colleges and universities.) Graduate programs include Law, Master of Arts, Master of Science in Business Administration, and Doctor in Philosophy.
Vir Alvaran, Araullo University graduate in industrial engineering, 1979, immigrated to Canada in 1996. As process engineer at the ABC Group underhood/air management systems division, Vir has been a speaker in the Canadian Society for Industrial Engineering (CSIE) conferences in Montreal, Quebec and Toronto, Ontario. Alvaran is just an example of less fortunate Filipinos who couldn't afford the expensive schooling in Manila, Philippines but helped by a private school in an agricultural province (charging affordable fees) to get an education that would help one to succeed in a country as far away as North America.
