Romashkino Field

Romashkino Field

Romashkino Field is an oil field in Tatarstan, Russia. Discovered in 1948, it is the largest oil field of Volga-Ural basin. Romashkino Field had produced over 15 billion barrels (2.4 km³) of oil. Statistic analysis predicted depletion at 16.5 to 17.2 billion barrels (2.6 to 2.7 km³). However, advance western technologies allow for extraction of more oil.
