Jøssund, Sør-Trøndelag

Jøssund is a former municipality in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway.

It was created by a split from Åfjord on January 1, 1896. At that time Jøssund had a population of 1,529.

On 1 January 1964 Jøssund became a part of the enlarged Bjugn municipality. Before the merger Jøssund had a population of 1,917.
