"Faget" is a song written and recorded by American rock band Korn for their self-titled debut album. It is the album's sixth track.

Music and structure

The song is nearly six minutes long, and does not really conform to a set structure, being more amorphous in style.

Concept

Lead singer Jonathan Davis has stated that the song was inspired by his childhood, in which he was bullied by unidentified individuals and called a "faget" (intentional misspelling of the insult faggot).

Music video

Like "Good God", a song from Korn's second studio album, "Life Is Peachy", a video for this song was shot, but was never officially released, nor was the song released as a single, probably because of incessant profanities. The video can be seen in Korn's first documentary video, "Who Then Now?", which also features in their 2002 DVD release, "Deuce". It simply features the band playing the song in a red-curtained room.
