May 22 ,1948 –April 26 ,2007 ) was aRomania n football striker. He was considered one of the best Romanian strikers of all time.He was born in
Bucharest and debuted in Divizia A withDinamo Bucureşti in 1966. He remained with Dinamo for eleven seasons, winning the league titles in 1971, 1973 and 1975 and the cup title in 1968. He became the top goalscorer of the Divizia A in 1969 with 22 goals and in 1971 with 15 goals.Dumitrache got 31 caps and 15 goals for the Romanian national team. He represented his country at the
1970 FIFA World Cup , scoring 2 goals.The Victoria Ground is now known as the "Florea Dumitrache" Field in honor of the great romanian striker, who played 11 seasons for Dinamo & 7 years for the Romanian National Football Team.External links
