The Stereo

The Stereo was a pop rock/rock and roll band started in early 1999 by former ska/punk band frontmen Jamie Woolford (of Animal Chin) and Rory Phillips (of The Impossibles). The pair, each of whom was creating a respective solo album at the time, was brought together by the recommendation of their then record label Fueled by Ramen. The band's first album "Three Hundred" was released soon thereafter. [http://cdbaby.com/cd/stereo]

Over their recording and touring history, the band endured a number of line-up changes. [http://www.punknews.org/article/5117] However, Woolford was always affiliated with the group and composed all selections by The Stereo following Phillips' departure shortly after the debut album's release. The final installation of the band disbanded in March of 2004.
