He made his debut against Bury in 2004, scoring the third goal in a 3-1 victory. September 16 ,2006 . Arguably Le Fondre's most memorable goal to date was his acrobatic overhead kick against Barnet on27 October 2006 , Stockport won the game 2-0. He grabbed a hat-trick for Rochdale in a 4-1 thrashing of Accrington Stanley, and claimed three match balls as he scored each goal with a different ball.The ex-County striker has been on good form during Rochdale's Centenary season and is currently the Dale's top scorer with 17 goals to his name. He was involved in the penalty-shoot out against Darlington in the play-offs, as Dale won 5-4 to seal their place in
