Gina Ravera (born May 20, 1966 [Birth date confirmed at the State of California. "California Birth Index, 1905-1995". Ravarra is 20 May 1966.] ) is an American actress known for her role in the film "Soul Food", in which she played the role of the wild and seductive Faith, a distant cousin.

Ravera was born Gina D. Ravarra in San Francisco, California, to a Puerto Rican father and African American mother. The film was produced by Oprah Winfrey and starred Denzel Washington as Mel Tolson, the man who eventually inspired his debate team to victory. Ravera played the wife.
