Television broadcasts
Since its DVD release in 2003, "Seeing Double" has been broadcast several times on British television. Its UK television premiere was in 2005 when Five screened it at 6:05pm. Ratings for the film were strong and it achieved 1.1 million viewers, making it the most-watched children-based film ever broadcast by Channel 5. This record still stands. Channel 5 promoted the film well, with many magazines making it their 'Must Watch Film' for that week.
Following its Five showing, the film has been broadcast by both
Sky One and Disney Channel UK. The latter showing was unusual in that "Seeing Double" is neither a Disney film, nor Disney-related in any way.
