Thomas Geoffrey Sackville

Thomas Geoffrey Sackville (born 26 October 1950) is a British Conservative politician. He is the second son of William Sackville, 10th Earl De La Warr.

In 1979, he married Catherine Thérèsa Lewis, by whom he has two children:
*Arthur Michael Sackville (b. 1983)
*Savannah Elizabeth Sackville (b. 1986)

Sackville was elected Member of Parliament for Bolton West in 1983, ousting future government whip Ann Taylor. During his time in Parliament, he served as a government whip and a junior minister for Health and the Home Office. In 1997, he lost his seat to Labour's Ruth Kelly by 7,072 votes.
