Abdi Abdulkadir Sheik-Abdi ( _so. Cabdi Sheekh Cabdi) (born
15 October 1942 ,Somalia ) is a Somali author who currently resides in the United States of America. He holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in English Literature and African Studies from theState University of New York and a doctorate in African History fromBoston University . He taught both in Somalia and the U.S. and is the author of numerous short stories, two novels, a collection of fables, as well as articles and essays. He has two daughters: Ugaso and Ayan. Ayan was born with autism. Ugaso is currently enrolled at the U of M, plays the tuba and violin and draws anime and manga.Bibliography
