The Companion to British History (ISBN 978-0-9560983-0-6) is a single-volume encyclopaedic reference work "bigger than a foundation stone, longer than the Bible" (Daily Telegraph) written by the sole hand of Charles Arnold-Baker and originally published by his son Henry von Blumenthal in 1996. It was described by The Spectator as "arguably one of the most remarkable books ever written".
