South Oldham High School is located in Crestwood, Kentucky and serves pupils in 9th-12th grade. The principal is Dorenda Neihof and the school's mascot is the Dragon. South Oldham opened in 1989 because Oldham County High School became overcrowded.

Academics

* The school has produced numerous National Merit Finalists.
* The school annually sends several students to the Kentucky Governor's Scholars Program and the Kentucky Governor's School For The Arts.
* The Dragon's Tale, the student-run newspaper, has won numerous Kentucky High School Journalism Association awards under the direction of Cindi Reedy.
* The school's Advanced Placement BC Calculus Course, taught by Larry McCloskey, regularly has 100% of students score a 3 (passing is 3 and above) or better on the exam. [http://sohs.net/page3.html]

Athletics

* The girls' soccer team has won 6 (1995, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001) Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) championships under head coach Cy Tucker. The girls' soccer team has also produced 3 consecutive Miss Soccer award winners: Jennifer Gibson (1999), Kristal Menard (2000), and Emily Cobb (2001).

* The wrestling team won the KHSAA team championship in 2003.
