Colonel Almerindo Jaka Jamba (born
21 March 1949 ) is anAngola n politician and former rebel leader inUNITA . He studied in Portugal where he received a degree in philosophy. He is a member of Angolan National Assembly with UNITA and Angolan ambassador toUNESCO . He was previously the deputy speaker of Angolan parliament from 2002-2004. In 1975, Jamba was namedSecretary of State byJonas Savimbi under UNITA in the so called "transition govern" that was set from January of 1975 to July of the same year in accordance with theAlvor Agreement . He is the oldest living member of UNITA.External links
