Edificio Internacional de Capitalización was a 1935 Streamline Moderne skyscraper located in downtown Mexico City.
At the time of its construction, it was the second tallest skyscraper in Latin America and the tallest in Mexico, with 26 stories and 107 meters tall. It was surpassed in height in both Mexico and Latin America by the 1956 Torre Latinoamericana.
In 1957, after the earthquake, the building was cut to 20 stories (18 office floors and 2 mechanical). However, during the earthquake of September 19, 1985, the building suffered severe damage (though it didn't collapse) and was imploded in March 1986.
In 1991, the remains of the building were conditioned into a storage house, but proved to be too expensive, and in 1993, a retail center was opened in the site.
