History

The airline was established and started operations in 1989 and has 35 employees (at March 2007).

Destinations

During February 2006 Lynx Air International added more flights to the Out Islands of the Bahamas from Fort Lauderdale, adding three additional islands, including South Andros (Congotown),and North Eleuthera. In 2007 Lynx Air International withdrew Treasure Cay, Abacos Treasure Cay Airport

Lynx Air International announced in September 2008 an expansion to now include services to eight Bahamain destinations.
