Asturian language two letters (unicode|Ḷḷ, minuscule: unicode|ḷḷ) are used to represent some western dialectal sounds related with standardll (representing apalatal lateral approximant IPA| [ʎ] ). Among this group of dialectal pronunciations, usually called "che vaqueira" could appears basically: avoiced retroflex plosive IPA| [ɖ] , avoiced retroflex affricate IPA| [dʐ] , avoiceless retroflex affricate IPA| [tʂ] and avoiceless alveolar affricate IPA| [t͡s] . Formerly, this group of sounds were represented as "lh" (Fernan Coronas proposed writing system), "ts" or "ŝ". However, thisgrapheme is only used in dialectal texts and in westernAsturias toponymy . Because of the difficulties of writing it in digital texts, non-diacritical l.l (majuscule : L.l) is also often used.
