Acabion is the designer and manufacturer of the Acabion GTBO concept car. Since September 2008 its strategic Headquarter is in

The Acabion concept car is a two-seat vehicle with a drop-shaped body. The passenger is placed behind the driver. Power is provided by a hybrid drive system mounted behind the passenger compartment, incorporating a turbocharged 1.3-liter motor as well as a small electric motor for low speed (below convert|65|km/h|mi/h|0|abbr=on|lk=on) operations. Under normal conditions the Acabion concept drives on its two main wheels like a motorcycle, but at high speeds or if balance is lost at low speeds the two small side wheels are designed to lower themselves automatically to aid stability. A pendulum mounted behind the passenger’s seat also assists in holding the vehicle upright.
Performance
Acabion claims that the GTBO weighs convert|360|kg|lb|0|abbr=on and has a convert|750|hp engine. Due to its low curb weight and a powerful engine the Acabion concept projects a high power to weight ratio of convert|2100|hp per ton. Designers also claim that the Acabion’s aerodynamic shape will allow low fuel consumption even at high speeds.
