Limpertsberg ( _lb. Lampertsbierg) is a quarter in north-western
Luxembourg City , in the centre ofLuxembourg .In the south, on the border with the main city is the
Glacis , a large open air parking lot which hosts the annualSchueberfouer fair, the largest fair in the country. Next to the Glacis is the municpal theatre [ [http://www.apkieffer-omnitec.lu/html_de/referenzen/theatre.html Théâtre Municipal de Luxembourg] ] .To the south west is another iconic land mark, the
Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge , also known as the Red Bridge due to it's colour [ [http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A778205 The Bridges of Luxembourg] ] . It connects Limertsberg to the European district ofKirchberg over tehPfaffenthal and theAlzette river.In 2001, the quarter had a population of 7,546 people.
