Limpertsberg

Limpertsberg ( _lb. Lampertsbierg) is a quarter in north-western Luxembourg City, in the centre of Luxembourg.

In the south, on the border with the main city is the Glacis, a large open air parking lot which hosts the annual Schueberfouer fair, the largest fair in the country. Next to the Glacis is the municpal theatre [ [http://www.apkieffer-omnitec.lu/html_de/referenzen/theatre.html Théâtre Municipal de Luxembourg] ] .

To the south west is another iconic land mark, the Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge, also known as the Red Bridge due to it's colour [ [http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A778205 The Bridges of Luxembourg] ] . It connects Limertsberg to the European district of Kirchberg over teh Pfaffenthal and the Alzette river.

In 2001, the quarter had a population of 7,546 people.
