James Ogilvie-Grant, 11th Earl of Seafield

James Ogilvie-Grant, 11th Earl of Seafield DL (18 April 1876-12 November 1915), briefly known as Viscount Reidhaven in 1888, was a Scottish nobleman.

Seafield was the eldest son of Francis William Ogilvie-Grant, 10th Earl of Seafield, and Ann Nina, daughter of George Thomas Evans, of County Limerick and of Clooneavin, New Zealand. He succeeded in the earldom and other titles and as 30th Chief of Clan Grant on his father's death in 1888. He served as a Justice of the Peace for Banffshire, Morayshire, and Inverness-shire and fought in the First World War as a Captain in the 3rd Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders, and was attached to the 5th Battalion Cameron Highlanders.

Lord Seafield married Mary Elizabeth Nina Townend, daughter of Joseph Henry Townend, of Christchurch, New Zealand, in 1898. They had one daughter. He died of wounds received in action in 1915, aged 39. Lord Seafield was succeeded in the barony of Strathspey, the baronetcy of Colquhoun and as Chief of Clan Grant by his younger brother brother Hon. Trevor Ogilvie Grant. The earldom and the other subsidiary Scottish peerages could be passed on to female heirs, and were inherited by his daughter Nina Caroline Studley-Herbert.
