Hermopolis (Butosos)

Hermopolis (Greek: polytonic|Ἑρμοῦ πόλις) also known as Hermopolis Mikra (polytonic|Ἑρμοῦ πόλις μικρά) and Hermopolis Parva was an ancient city of Egypt. It was located on an island near the city Butosos (Strabo xvii. p. 802).
