South Delta Secondary is a public high school in Tsawwassen, British Columbia, Canada part of School District 37 Delta. SDSS is well known for its amazing football program, rugby squad, unique hockey academy,field hockey team, and ambitious theatre program. The pride of the SDSS athletic program is the football team . The school opened in 1974.

In the past, Tsawwassen also had a separate public Junior high school, Tsawwassen Junior Secondary School. In the late 1990s it was merged with South Delta Senior Secondary to make South Delta Secondary School. During the preceding years students from grades 8 through 12 attended classes in both the Senior (North) and Junior (South) buildings. In 2003, the land was sold and the building which formerly housed the Junior High school was demolished to make room for a housing development. The North building was subsequently expanded to accommodate all students.

The school is unique due to a close proximity to an elementary school ( [http://www.deltasd.bc.ca/sp Ecole South Park Elementary] ) and park and hosting a hockey program. The school is near Dennison Park, and outdoor gym classes often occur there rather than on school grounds. SDSS shares it's track with nearby South Park Elementary School, and hosts the district and regional Track and Field events.
