Prior to this, she was Principal at Robertson Stephens & Company, a San Francisco-based investment bank where she was responsible for financing emerging growth companies in the technology industry. McCaw has also worked as an Associate in Robertson Stephens' Venture Capital Group, and served as a Business Analyst for McKinsey & Company, an international management consulting firm, in New York and Hong Kong.McCaw was a member of
Stanford University 'sBoard of Trustees , and served as Co-Chair of Stanford's $1 billion Campaign for Undergraduate Education. At Stanford, she was also active in international student outreach. In Seattle, McCaw was the Co-founder and Board Chair of Team Read, a reading program for at-risk 2nd and 3rd grade students. In addition, she was a member of the University of Washington Investment Committee. McCaw was also a member of the Grameen Technology Advisory Council. McCaw served as Finance Co-Chair for Bush-Cheney '04 in Washington State and was a member of the national steering committee for W Stands for Women. She also served on the Women's Coalition Advisory Board of the Republican National Committee.McCaw earned an
MBA fromHarvard Business School and a BA inEconomics fromStanford University , where she was senior class president and graduatedsumma cum laude .McCaw was born and raised in
