Wade Jaynes

Wade Jaynes is an American bass guitarist.

Jaynes is primarily known for his work with Phil Keaggy on his late 80s and early 90s rock and roll records "Find Me In These Fields", "Crimson and Blue" and "True Believer"; as well as Randy Stonehill, Steve Taylor, Rick Cua, The Newsboys, and dc Talk. Jaynes was also a member of Chagall Guevara in the early 1990s, along with Taylor, Lynn Nichols, Mike Mead and David Perkins. Additionally, he played bass guitar on Viva Voce's first album, "Hooray For Now" and separately toured with Cowboy Junkies.

Jaynes began his career as a recording engineer, working with people like Amy Grant on her first album in 1977. His engineering credits also include albums for Rich Mullins, Jars of Clay, and others.

He is the uncle of Megan Christians and Molly Jayne.
