- Seaton, Cornwall
Seaton is a village three miles east of the town of
Looe and adjoining the resort ofDownderry immediately to the east, on the south coast ofCornwall ,England ,UK . It is situated at the mouth of theRiver Seaton and has a large beach. Immediately to the north of the village isSeaton Valley Countryside Park , one of fourCountry Parks in Cornwall. It is situated in a valley between two hills and has holiday rooms. The village is a quiet place and is home to less than a thousand people. It has annual festivals with live music andbarbecue s. It is a popular place to relax on the beach. There are cliffs on the side of a hill which have some of Seaton's homes on. The cliffs are over 50 feet tall but a have a path going down them. There are two main routes to get into Seaton - from the hill with houses on, and through the valley at the bottom. A few miles down the road is the local pub supporting live football, music and entertainment. Between Seaton and the pub there is a wood with the river winding through which boasts wildlife. In the area the animals range from bats to rabbits and kestrels to squirrels. Two miles down the road there is a monkey sanctuary which has over 20 monkeys.Gallery
