Corporate history
On December 29, 1944, two partners founded International Manufacturing and Equipment Company, known as

Hofortech Corporation , a Long Island-based company specializing in supplying and maintaining electrical engines for mining, and changed its name toInternational Hofortech Corporation .In July 1989,
Torno America Inc. , a subsidiary ofTorno Spa , a large European construction company, bought International Hofortech Corporation and in April 1990 shortened the name to IHC Services. From 1992-97, subsidiaries of Torno Spa purchased shares in IHC Services, and by 1997Torno SA Holdings , a subsidiary of Torno Spa, owned all stock in the company. In 2005,Alliance Investment Ltd. bought IHC Services, and owns the company today.Business operations

Ezio Testa was appointedCEO ; he resigned in October 2006, and no replacement has been named.
