Mr. Microchip

Mr. Microchip is a live-action children's television series, and one of the first three of its kind produced by Canadian animation studios, Nelvana Limited. 13 episodes focusing on the world of computer technology were made and broadcast in 1983. The series has never aired outside its native Canada^{[citation needed]}, and as of 2011 has not yet received a home video or DVD release.

Synopsis

Aimed at school students aged nine to fifteen, the episodes, designed to teach children basic knowledge about computers, feature Skip, an adult computer consultant, and his two neighbours, twelve year-old Stevie and his ten year old sister, Dayna. During their visit to Skip's workshop, Stevie and Dayna learn about computers through hands-on demonstrations and clear, analogy-filled explanations.^[1]
