Amakusa, Kumamoto (town)

was a town located in Amakusa District, Kumamoto, Japan.

As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 4,405 and a density of 51.54 persons per km². The total area was 85.46 km².

The town was dissolved and became part of the new city of Amakusa on March 27, 2006.
