Kristin Holby

Kristin Clotilde Holby is an American actress and model.

Holby grew up in Larchmont, New York and attended Murray Avenue School and Mamaroneck High School. After a short acting career with small supporting roles as Penelope Witherspoon in "Trading Places" and Mrs. Jacobi in "Manhunter," she became a successful model for various couture houses, including Yves St. Laurent, Givenchy and Chanel. She was the top fashion model for Ralph Lauren through the 1980s. Known as Clotilde, she also appeared in fashion and cosmetic advertising on TV and in print. After marriage she has retired from modelling, she is now know as Kristin Darnell and lives in Larchmont with her husband and three children. She has established a brand of elegant women's dresses, also called "Clotilde" and opened Clotilde: The Dress Shop in Larchmont, NY.
