Fruittella are chewy sweets similar to Starburst and
Chewits , but harder. They are made by the Dutch/Italian companyPerfetti Van Melle , which also manufactures Atomic Fireballs and other candies. Fruittella is sold in the flavorsBlackcurrant ,Citrus Sour ,English Fruits ,Strawberry andSummer fruits .Advertisement
Fruittella are known for their advertisement in the United Kingdom which contained the song "

Fruittella released the
strawberry flavour sweet in asugar free version called Fruittella Light. They also released a line of gum.In 2007 they released a choc-filled fruittella. The company ironically kept the name fruittella despite the fact that chocolate is not a fruit. The sweet also exhibits an uncharacteristically hard texture which the members of the public did not favour, leading to the demise of the unchewable, chocolate sweet. It seems to have returned in 2008 but this time with a softer texture which is similar in comparison to Fruittella chews, despite the lack of any fruit flavourings. Fruittella also produces a product called Fruittella crunchies; these are similar to
mentos orGolia but with a original fruittela center. in one pack there are six flavours, there is one of each flavour.External links
