Dennis Trammell (born February 2, 1982 in Chicago, Illinois, USA), is a professional basketball player who played for the Canterbury Rams in the New Zealand National Basketball League (NBL).
Trammell began his collegiate basketball career playing at New Mexico State University, before excelling at Ball State University from 2003-2005. After playing for Ball State University he briefly played in Uruguay before moving to Croatia. In early 2006, Trammell signed a one year contract with the Canterbury Rams in New Zealand. Trammell starred for the Rams in his debut season in the NBL leading the league in scoring with 25 points a game . Trammell has excelled alongside young New Zealand point guard Jeremy Kench for the Rams and the side will be keen to retain him for the future. After the NBL season, Trammell is currently playing for USC Heidelberg in the German Bundesliga, Second Division (www.eurobasket.com/team.asp?Cntry=GER&Team=215).
