Alexander Grant Barry (August 23, 1892 - December 28, 1952) was a United States Senator from Oregon. Born in Astoria, he attended the public schools there and in Portland as well as the University of Washington at Seattle, the University of Oregon Law School, and Northwest College of Law (Portland). He was admitted to the bar in 1917 and commenced practice in Portland. During the First World War he was commissioned a second lieutenant and served in the artillery until February 1919.

Barry was a member of the Oregon Relief Committee in 1932, the Oregon Relief Commission in 1933, and the Oregon Liquor Control Commission from 1933 to 1935. He was chairman of School District No. 1 Civil Service Board in 1937 and 1938, and was elected on November 8, 1938 as a Republican to the U.S. Senate to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Frederick Steiwer. Barry served from November 9, 1938, to January 3, 1939; he was not a candidate for election to the full term and resumed the practice of law. He was a member of the Oregon House of Representatives from 1945 to 1950 and in 1952 died in Portland. Interment was in Willamette National Cemetery.
