Beachniks

The Beachniks are a band from Victoria, Australia. Their name is a reference to the term "beatnik", however the word "beach" is used because the band lives and performs near the coastal town of Lorne, Victoria.

They have released two albums: "The Many Moods of the Beachniks" and "Trombone Bay".The band has a loyal following and is known to play regularly around Lorne and Anglesea.They play a unique mix of reggae/ambient/funk and jazz. Both albums have seen fairly positive feedback and reviews, especially "Trombone Bay".
