Grace Paine Terzian is the Vice President for Communications of
Hudson Institute . As VP for Communications at theHudson Institute , she manages Hudson's publications, public relations, and events.The daughter of Thomas F. Paine, Jr., M.D. (a physician who, among other things, was a
National Institutes of Health advisor,Fulbright Program lecturer, professor of medicine atVanderbilt University and at several other universities, and a pioneer in the study of the side effects ofantibiotics ) and Grace Benedict Paine, Terzian attendedWilliams College where she studied Art History.Terzian has worked in a variety of publishing and public policy-oriented positions, including
The New Republic , theChronicle of Higher Education , andArchitectural Digest . During the 1990s and into the early 2000s, Terzian worked at the Independent Women’s Forum, where she was Senior Vice President, and also Publisher of The Women’s Quarterly. Immediately prior to working at theHudson Institute , Terzian was Executive Director of the Allergy and Asthma Network Mothers of Asthmatics.Married to
Philip Terzian , and the mother of two, she lives inFairfax County, Virginia .References
