Kitten's Joy is owned and bred by Ken and Sarah Ramsey (who is nicknamed Kitten). He was trained by Dale Romans and regularly ridden byEdgar Prado .Kitten's Joy won the 2004
Secretariat Stakes and theJoe Hirsch Turf Classic Invitational Handicap as his only two Grade I wins. He also ran second toBetter Talk Now in the 2005Breeders' Cup Turf . This was enough to be voted theEclipse Award for Outstanding Male Turf Horse .Kitten's Joy only started twice as a four year old. Finishing first in the Firecraker. He finished second to Powerscourt in the
Arlington Million , considered by some to be the turf race equivalent of theKentucky Derby . He was retired after the Million and now stands at Ramsey Farm inNicholasville, Kentucky .References
